It’s time I shared something with you. I don’t like doing the same thing over and over. But planning a weekly menu is something I have done for years and once I got past the “this is boring ” phase I found the rhythm very rewarding.
Last week we ended up eating out several times with my family from out of town and some of the meals were very fancy. My favorite part of going to a restaurant (besides the conversation) is the inspiration. My mouth was dancing with new flavors that I hope to incorporate into recipes at home. Bon appetit! Itadakimasu! Buen provecho!
Monday: mushroom stroganoff with truffle oil, sauteed greens
Tuesday: taco flight including slow cooked beef, mahi, or sweet potato
Wednesday: tofu stir fry, egg roll in a bowl
Thursday: buckwheat cakes, sausage, scrambled eggs
Friday: pizza night featuring pineapple and ham, spinach alfredo, and anything else we can find in the fridge, green goddess salad
Saturday: TBD
