i’m 16!

This past Tuesday, February 11, was my birthday. If you couldn’t already tell by the title I turned 16-years-old. Age is just a number, so I don’t feel that different right off the bat, but I’m excited for this coming year. I have goals to achieve and things to do.

One question I’ve been asked WAY TOO MUCH is whether I got my driver’s license yet, and, no, I didn’t. I haven’t even gotten my permit yet! I wasn’t really in a rush to drive when I turned 15, and after that I kind of forgot. I did take a Florida Virtual School Driver’s Ed course which means all I have to do is the easy online test and then stop by the DMV. I just haven’t found time yet, I suppose.

My parents made my birthday very special, even though it was on a random Tuesday this year. My mom worked extra hard to finish the Bible lecture she was giving the following day, so she could spend extra time with me. And when my dad got home at 9pm, after HIS Bible study, we had a pizza party and hung out. What more can you really ask for?

I’m really thankful to all of my family and friends who wished me a happy birthday. Well, I should probably get to some school now, I’ll keep you guys updated on my life soon and maybe talk about that mystery piece of gym equipment I acquired? We’ll have to see!
