It’s been a long week and it’s only Monday. The busier the week, the more reason to menu plan, in my opinion. We feel better when we eat better. And the potential to eat out when busy is high which is no bueno because 1) it’s not in the budget 2) it leads to waste in the fridge 3) restaurant food is loaded with sugar, salt, and saturated fats.
Ooooooh! I just remembered it’s going to be thanksgiving soon which is like menu planning’s birthday! I’ve never had a blog on thanksgiving. This is going to be so fun! Let’s make this busy week fun too with a lil’ alliteration.
Meatless Monday: chana masala, brown rice, vegetable samosas
Taco Tuesday: shrimp tacos, black beans, slaw, guacamole
Wacky Wednesday: charcuterie board
Throw back Thursday: buckwheat cakes, scrambled eggs, fruit salad
Fancy Friday: eggplant parmesan, caesar salad, and semifreddo tiramisu
